Today, Ning.com officially announced their
new pricing plans, as well as
upcoming changes to their development API.
How these changes affect our productsAll of our upcoming products as well as our existing Ning Apps (Listings, Answers, Member Map, & Contact Page) will be taking advantage of the new API features once available, such as the ability to place modules on the main page of your network, as well as migrating to the OpenSocial 1.0 specification which will allow us to decrease the loading time of our apps and improve the overall quality of our apps for Ning Networks. Additional changes to the Ning Development API, include an increase in the maximum number of Ning Apps you can add to your network. For the full details, check out
this post on the Ning Developer Network.
Expanding our services
We're pleased to announce today that we'll soon be expanding the availability of our apps to additional platforms. We're also now publicly offering Custom Development services for Ning Networks, as well as for open source solutions.
